Leah Shulley, a member of Art Palmer's School of Karate and senior at Cumberland County High School in Crossville TN, earned her black belt on December the 23rd, 2008.

“I have enjoyed making it to black belt and now I look forward to learning on a new level. I appreciate all of my Senseis who have helped me make it this far,” said Leah.

Art Palmer is very proud of Leah. “Leah is a special person. She has a bright future in martial arts and in life in general,” commented Mr. Palmer.

“Leah has more heart and dedication then most young woman her age. She is a hard worker and a proven TRUE martial artist,” said assistant instructor, Ben Gibson.

Assistant instructor Marty Robbins added, “The school is very proud of Leah. I have enjoyed teaching her and look forward to several more years of working with her.”
